About the role
We are looking for a motivated Procurement Officer to join our team as a fresh graduate. The role focuses on supporting the sourcing and purchasing functions, ensuring that goods and services are acquired efficiently and cost‑effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Streamline sourcing processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Ensure timely acquisition of goods and services while optimizing cost efficiency.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet organizational needs.
- Cultivate and evaluate supplier relationships and performance.
- Enforce compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and HSE initiatives.
- Define and communicate supply strategy to align stakeholders.
- Identify metrics, tools and processes to improve sourcing efficiency.
- Lead savings and cash‑flow programs within assigned categories.
- Support cost‑reduction initiatives and rationalisation of suppliers, materials and services.
- Represent the organisation ethically and professionally.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
