Procurement Specialist IV

About the role

AECOM is seeking a senior Procurement Specialist to lead complex purchasing activities for large‑scale infrastructure projects. You will work under general direction to secure supplies and services at the best value while adhering to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluate vendor quotations.
• Select vendors, negotiate terms, and schedule deliveries.
• Expedite shipments and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Track and follow up on invoices to guarantee accurate payment.
• Manage procurement activities for rail, transportation, construction, and engineering projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, MCIPS, PMP or other supply‑chain/contract‑management credentials are highly desirable.
• 12+ years of procurement experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record managing procurement on large‑scale infrastructure or construction projects.
