About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage and execute procurement activities, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely availability of products and services at the required quality and cost, while adhering to company policies. The role involves overseeing the full purchasing cycle from request to delivery, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Process and follow up on purchase requests.
- Source suppliers and compare prices, quotations, and offers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders until products or services are received.
- Monitor delivery schedules and resolve any delays or supplier‑related issues.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain professional supplier relationships.
- Ensure purchased products and services meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare procurement reports and monitor purchasing costs and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approved budgets.
