Production Foreman – Truck Body & Trailer Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Foreman will oversee daily production activities in the manufacturing of truck bodies and trailers. This role ensures efficient workflow, product quality, and timely achievement of production targets while coordinating closely with engineers and support departments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production processes including fabrication, assembly, welding, installation, and finishing.
• Allocate manpower and assign tasks according to production plans and priorities.
• Monitor production progress to meet daily targets.
• Read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure products are manufactured to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production Engineers, Welding Foreman, Quality Control, Stores, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Monitor workmanship quality and work to reduce defects, rework, and material waste.
• Train, guide, and support production workers to improve skills and efficiency.
