Production Lead – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Lead will oversee daily operations of a dedicated food‑manufacturing line in Saudi Arabia. Working directly on the shop floor, you will ensure production targets are met while maintaining strict safety, quality and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shift schedules, assignments, rotations and break management to meet production plans.
• Monitor and enforce food‑safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and regulatory compliance (OSHA, SQF, BRC).
• Track key performance indicators such as throughput, yield and labor hours, identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues (fillers, conveyors, packaging scales) and liaise with Maintenance for complex repairs.
• Onboard and coach new hires on standard operating procedures, providing continuous feedback.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, production reports, waste records and safety checklists.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in food manufacturing or processing environments.
• Proven ability to lead production teams and manage shift operations.
• Strong understanding of food‑safety certifications and occupational safety regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with production equipment and KPI monitoring.

Required skills

• Equipment troubleshooting (fillers, conveyors, packaging scales).
• Production KPI monitoring and analysis.
• Food safety standards knowledge (OSHA, SQF, BRC, HACCP, GMP).
• Documentation of production reports, waste logs and safety checklists.
