Project Director – Stadium Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the execution, testing, commissioning and hand‑over of a major stadium development in Riyadh. The role reports to senior management and requires full responsibility for delivering the project on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle from construction through testing, commissioning and final hand‑over.
• Coordinate multiple work‑package contractors and specialist subcontractors as the main/ managing contractor.
• Manage joint‑venture relationships, representing partner interests while fostering collaboration.
• Control budget, schedule, risk and contractual obligations.
• Engage with senior employer representatives, design teams, consultants and local authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of experience with major international or regional contractors.
• At least 5 years in a senior executive role (Project Director, Deputy Project Director or Construction Director).
• Proven delivery of a large‑scale stadium or similar high‑profile venue.
• Experience in KSA or GCC mega‑projects and strong English communication skills.
