Purchasing Coordinator – Saudi National (Full‑time)

About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator will support the procurement function of Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Center, ensuring that all purchase requisitions are processed efficiently and that goods and services are delivered on time. This full‑time position is open only to Saudi nationals and reports to the Procurement Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders using Future Log and other procurement systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, resolve invoice discrepancies and track deliveries.
• Maintain accurate department records, documentation and metrics such as inventory use and cost savings.
• Support new supplier qualification, RFP creation and quote evaluation under supervision.
• Perform data analysis and reporting in Excel, including corrective actions and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Assist with fleet obligations, registrations and compliance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement policies.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with procurement best practices, RFP processes and relevant regulations.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
