Purchasing Officer

About the role

The Purchasing Officer will support the Procurement team at Don Construction Products (DCP) in Saudi Arabia, ensuring timely and accurate acquisition of materials and services for factory and office operations. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient procurement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating, reviewing, and approving Purchase Orders (POs) and Purchase Requests (PRs) to meet operational needs.
• Issue RFQs to suppliers, negotiate terms, and evaluate offers to secure the best quality and value.
• Coordinate logistics, arrange shipments, and manage clearance procedures with import documents and customs agents.
• Monitor inventory levels, support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) assessments, and prepare regular procurement reports.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure timely payment to suppliers and maintain accurate procurement records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• 0‑2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
