Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist will manage end‑to‑end procurement for assigned categories, ensuring timely, cost‑effective, and compliant sourcing of materials and services. The role supports production and operational needs while aligning with company procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full purchasing cycle, from RFQs and supplier evaluation to negotiation and purchase order issuance.
• Source materials and services according to approved strategies, budgets, and quality standards.
• Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and handle contract administration.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through negotiation, alternative sourcing, and price benchmarking.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, delegation of authority, and ethical standards, and prepare performance reports.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, trading, or FMCG environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or equivalent ERP systems).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
