QA/QC Civil Engineer – Construction Quality Assurance

About the role

The QA/QC Civil Engineer will monitor civil construction activities, ensuring they meet approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and quality standards. The role involves on‑site inspections, managing quality documentation and coordinating corrective actions with subcontractors and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect all civil works (reinforcement, formwork, concrete, masonry, waterproofing, backfilling, finishing) for compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Raise and track WIRs, MIRs, NCRs and SORs, ensuring timely closure.
• Monitor concrete pouring processes, including pre‑pour checks, delivery, slump, temperature, sampling, curing and post‑pour inspections.
• Verify material submittals, technical requirements and third‑party test reports.
• Identify defects, coordinate corrective actions and maintain accurate quality records.
• Provide technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Participate in mock‑ups, material inspections, testing, commissioning and final inspections.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, quality control procedures and ITPs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent coordination skills with site, technical, survey, laboratory and consultant teams.
