Quality Assurance Director

About the role

The Quality Assurance Director will lead the development and execution of ZATCA’s quality and revenue assurance strategies. This senior position is responsible for shaping policies, overseeing inspections, and driving process automation to meet the Authority’s objectives and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align the Monitoring & QA business plan with ZATCA’s overall strategy.
• Prepare operational and budgeting plans for Quality Assurance, ensuring effective use of resources.
• Create and update QA policies, procedures, manuals, and assessment tools.
• Monitor QA inspections, analyze performance data, and report risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Support senior management in forecasting tax and customs revenues and assess collection performance against KPIs.
• Lead process re‑engineering initiatives, promoting automation and best‑practice controls.
• Collaborate with internal audit, risk, compliance and other stakeholders to address disparities and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor and guide direct reports, and participate in talent identification and recruitment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong strategic planning, policy making, data analytics and change management capabilities.
