Quality Control Inspector – Mechanical

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector – Mechanical to join our team on District Cooling Plant (DCP) projects in Riyadh. You will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works, including cooling towers and chilled water systems, meet the required quality standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections for DCP and cooling tower works on site.
• Conduct and witness welding inspections and coordinate NDT activities.
• Review and verify Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, FEED documentation and international codes (ASME, AWS).
• Coordinate with third‑party inspection bodies and client representatives.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Monitor site execution, identify non‑conformities and support corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of mechanical QA/QC experience in EPC projects.
• Hands‑on experience with cooling tower and District Cooling Plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of FEED documentation and quality procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant codes such as ASME and AWS.
• Valid ASNT Level II (NDT Level 2) certification; CSWIP/CWI certification preferred.
