Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Join Wholly Hearty’s Quality team to ensure that every snack meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will work directly on the production floor, inspecting raw materials, in‑process items, and finished goods to protect the brand’s reputation for healthy, locally sourced chips.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in‑process products, and finished goods following approved procedures.
• Perform routine pre‑operational and operational checks of processing lines.
• Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and SFDA regulations.
• Record inspection results accurately and report non‑conforming materials promptly.
• Support internal audits, traceability, quality investigations, and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Verify that measuring and inspection equipment is clean, functional, and calibrated.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Quality Control within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Understanding of HACCP principles.
• Familiarity with SFDA regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
