Quality Improvement Specialist

About the role

Madeeda Hospitals is seeking an experienced Quality Improvement Specialist to strengthen its Quality Management and Accreditation programs. The role focuses on accreditation readiness, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement while supporting patient safety and incident management across the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain hospital accreditation programs and ensure continuous readiness.
• Coordinate accreditation requirements, develop action plans, and gather evidence for surveys.
• Conduct readiness assessments, tracer activities, and internal compliance audits.
• Monitor departmental compliance, identify gaps, and follow up on corrective action plans.
• Support incident reporting, trend analysis, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Analyze KPIs and quality indicators, identify performance gaps, and assist departments in improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate quality and patient safety education and awareness activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Quality Management or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in hospital or healthcare quality management.
• Hands‑on experience with hospital accreditation preparation and survey processes.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards such as CBAHI, CARF or equivalents.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare quality and patient safety principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, documentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with quality/accreditation management systems.
