Rail Planning and Controls Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning and Controls Manager to lead the planning activities for the Riyadh Metro project. The role focuses on railway operation and maintenance, ensuring schedules are realistic, risks are managed and resources are optimally allocated.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all planning and scheduling activities within the Railways Operation & Maintenance division.
• Review, validate and monitor contractor plans and schedules, analysing resources, production rates, critical activities and risks.
• Produce business plans for the Service Delivery Division in collaboration with Finance, Business Planning and HR leaders.
• Prepare documentation and coordinate with Procurement on tender preparation, variation orders, contract close‑out and work orders.
• Work with Finance to develop the annual division budget and monitor expenditures.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, scheduling and producing management reports.
• Proven experience in railway operation and maintenance data management.

• Primavera P6 for schedule management, control and communication.
