Railways & Mass Transit Senior Engineer

About the role

RINA is looking for a Senior Engineer specialized in railways and mass‑transit systems to join its Civil Engineering Division in Riyadh. You will lead system integration and design activities across complex railway projects, acting as the primary liaison between contractors, authorities and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first interface with the Contractor, E&M/CW parties, Railway Authority and Independent Safety Assessor.
• Ensure smooth technical delivery and coordination of the RINA team.
• Coordinate with the General Contractor’s staff on system‑integration and engineering tasks.
• Manage systems‑engineering processes, design packages and documentation.
• Plan and oversee requirements management, configuration, technical interface management and RAMS activities.
• Review and integrate subsystem test and commissioning plans, criteria and procedures into overall system documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Extensive experience in railway and mass‑transit projects.
• Registered consultant or professional with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Proven experience in system integration and design management for railway systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
