Rare Disease Account Manager – Central/Eastern

About the role

The Rare Disease Account Manager will lead and manage key accounts across the patient journey in the rare oncology‑neurology space. Acting as the primary commercial lead, you will drive disease awareness, patient identification, market access and brand adoption while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end account management, including mapping, stakeholder engagement, business planning and execution.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with brand objectives and patient needs.
• Identify opportunities and barriers within accounts and proactively drive solutions.
• Prioritize and engage physicians, pharmacists, procurement, finance and administration stakeholders.
• Serve as brand ambassador, supporting launch execution of rare disease products and communicating value propositions.
• Drive disease‑awareness initiatives and optimise the patient journey.
• Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, physicians, pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Generate strategic opportunities through scientific engagement and customer partnership.
• Organise and execute customer activities, scientific meetings and educational events.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing key accounts in the rare oncology or neurology therapeutic areas.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, hospital stakeholders and internal cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with physicians, pharmacists and KOLs.
• Strategic mindset to identify and overcome account‑level barriers.
