Rare Disease Advisor

About the role

Er‑Kim is seeking a passionate Rare Disease Advisor to join its Medical Affairs team in Saudi Arabia. The role provides scientific and clinical expertise to shape medical strategies for the company’s rare disease portfolio and to support the delivery of innovative treatments to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute medical plans aligned with the rare disease strategy.
• Act as the scientific expert on rare disease therapies, delivering insights to internal teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and patient‑advocacy groups.
• Support clinical development, medical education, and scientific engagement initiatives.
• Provide medical expertise to cross‑functional teams including commercial, regulatory, and market access.
• Review and ensure accuracy of medical and scientific content in promotional and educational materials.
• Assist medical information and pharmacovigilance activities related to rare disease products.
• Monitor and analyse scientific and clinical developments in rare diseases.

Required profile

• Experience in market access, preferably within rare diseases.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to interpret and convey complex medical and scientific information.
• Proven experience engaging with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in English.
