Registrar - Family Medicine

About the role

The Family Medicine Registrar will deliver comprehensive primary care to individuals and families of all ages, both in‑person and via telemedicine. This role focuses on preventive, acute, and chronic disease management while supporting population health initiatives and value‑based care pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations during in‑person and video consultations.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and arrange specialist referrals.
• Provide ongoing management for chronic conditions and preventive health services in line with clinical guidelines.
• Utilise telehealth platforms to assess symptoms, perform virtual examinations, and document care.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in population health management, identifying community health trends and promoting preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to medical regulations, ethical standards, and quality‑assurance protocols.

Required profile

• Medical qualification with eligibility to practice family medicine.
• Experience in both face‑to‑face and telehealth clinical settings.
• Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Commitment to continuous learning and quality‑improvement initiatives.
