Regulatory & Import Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Regulatory & Import Specialist to ensure that all imported products comply with Saudi regulatory requirements and customs procedures. The role bridges regulatory affairs, customs clearance and supply‑chain teams to guarantee smooth market entry and maintain product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product registrations, labeling approvals and certifications with the Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) and other relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to secure timely clearance of shipments and resolve any documentation or compliance issues.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics and suppliers to embed regulatory requirements into sourcing and shipping processes.
• Monitor updates to SFDA regulations, customs rules and import laws, and communicate changes to internal stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks, shipment delays or product rejections, escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in import regulatory affairs, customs clearance or import compliance, preferably in the food/FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of SFDA regulations, customs procedures and import/export documentation.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and solve clearance or regulatory problems.
