Resident Obstetrics & Gynecologist

About the role

The Resident Obstetrics & Gynecologist provides inpatient care for women’s health at Care National Hospital, ensuring high‑quality, compassionate treatment in line with professional ethics, JCIA standards, and Saudi Ministry of Health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and interpret common diagnostic tests.
• Admit patients from the emergency department after consultant approval and coordinate investigations.
• Conduct daily ward rounds, document management plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Prepare discharge summaries, death reports, and special patient reports.
• Participate in the department’s on‑call rota and respond to emergencies.
• Assist consultants with diagnostic and therapeutic obstetrics‑gynecology procedures.
• Supervise junior staff and contribute to departmental education and training activities.
• Provide patient and family education, respecting cultural and language preferences.

Required profile

• Qualified medical graduate with a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Licensed to practice in Saudi Arabia and familiar with JCIA and Ministry of Health standards.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a senior consultant.
• Strong documentation skills and adherence to hospital policies.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call duties and emergency response.
