Risk Engineer / Contracts Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Risk Engineer / Contracts Administrator to join our team in Riyadh. The role focuses on identifying, assessing and mitigating technical, contractual, commercial and operational risks across EPC and construction projects while ensuring contract compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and monitor risks using HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA, Bow‑Tie and maintain risk registers.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies and track Key Risk Indicators.
• Review engineering designs, project plans and contracts to pinpoint potential issues.
• Administer EPC, construction, procurement and subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage contract compliance, variations, change orders, claims, extensions of time and related documentation.
• Support tender evaluations, contractual risk assessments and dispute avoidance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Commercial, Legal and HSE teams.
• Prepare risk and contract reports and ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in EPC, construction, engineering or contracting environments.
• Professional certifications such as PMI‑RMP, PMP, CCM or RICS are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
