Sales Assistant – Customer Account Support & Office Administration

About the role

The Sales Assistant supports the sales and commercial team by handling routine customer‑account activities, coordinating internal processes, and ensuring accurate record‑keeping. The role also manages office administration tasks and provides Arabic document translation when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support customer accounts with operational and administrative tasks, including invoicing, statements, and payment follow‑ups.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, escalating commercial or service issues to senior sales staff as required.
• Prepare regular sales and customer performance reports and analyse sales trends, forecasts and open orders.
• Collect and maintain customer forecast information, generate forecast vs. actual reports and update system files.
• Assist with SAP master data maintenance for customers, ensuring accuracy of Ship‑To/Sold‑To records.
• Handle office administration duties such as renewing government licences, managing vendors, equipment maintenance and translating Arabic documents.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 3‑4 years of experience in technical sales support, customer service or commercial operations.
• Experience in customer‑facing or account support roles is an advantage.
• Fluent Arabic language skills are compulsory.
