Sales Engineer

About the role

The Sales Engineer will manage customer relationships and drive new business opportunities within the assigned market segment. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to promote our product portfolio, achieve sales targets, and support market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets set by the Installation Sales Manager.
• Visit clients, contractors, and consultants regularly to provide up‑to‑date product information.
• Identify, secure, and develop new project opportunities with prospects.
• Advise Elevator Managers on specifications, traffic analysis, and design, ensuring compliance with client and consultant requirements.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department for drawing preparation and approval.
• Assist in obtaining approvals for specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with managers during contract preparation and incorporate their input.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of project details by reviewing manuals, catalogs, and related materials.
• Collect and maintain competitor intelligence, including product ranges, strengths, weaknesses, and pricing.
• Conduct an annual market intelligence survey.
• Prepare estimates, quotations, product presentations, and negotiate final orders.
• Submit proposals to clients/contractors and discuss details.
• Liaise with Finance & Accounting for project hand‑over and payment collection.
• Perform periodic client visits to ensure proper hand‑over and explore future project possibilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related sales field.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
