Sales Engineer

About the role

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for a Sales Engineer to join its fast‑paced sales team in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will work directly with customers, understand their technical needs, and deliver tailored SEL solutions while collaborating with sales and product development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with SEL customers and channel partners.
• Identify customer requirements and deliver optimal SEL solutions.
• Maintain deep knowledge of SEL products and educate customers on technology and innovation.
• Develop quarterly order forecasts and achieve sales goals.
• Collect and report industry, competitor and customer trends.
• Collaborate to resolve customer feedback and product issues.
• Liaise between customers, contracts, risk, and accounts receivable to support commercial relationships.
• Use business tools for opportunity tracking and sales activity management.

Required profile

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in electrical engineering or technical sales.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally.

Required skills

• Electrical Engineering knowledge.
• Power system automation expertise.
• Protection systems understanding.
