Sales Engineer

About the role

Bureau Veritas, a world leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification, is seeking a Sales Engineer in Riyadh. The role supports the sale of complex scientific and technological services, requiring deep product knowledge and technical expertise to meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and engineer adaptations of Bureau Veritas services.
• Prepare and coordinate proposals for bespoke products, including technical selection, quotation and costing.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and develop costed, workable solutions.
• Develop yearly and quarterly sales plans, set targets and analyse monthly results.
• Produce marketing and sales performance reports and maintain pricing information.
• Provide technical and application support to the sales force and customers.
• Prepare instructional and descriptive literature for existing and new products.
• Ensure compliance with QHSSE policies, ethical standards and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience; BA in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering is an advantage.
• Experience selling to core sectors such as Oil & Gas or Power, preferably within the Chinese market in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong business acumen and ability to build personal rapport with customers.

Required skills

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Good communication skills and ability to act as a role model for safety and compliance.
• Willingness to wear PPE and attend safety orientations on project sites.
