Sales Solar Engineer

About the role

UniPower is seeking a full‑time Sales Solar Engineer to work on‑site in Riyadh. The role combines technical pre‑sales expertise with commercial acumen to drive the adoption of solar power solutions for commercial and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new solar project opportunities.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and present solar system solutions to prospects and existing customers.
• Assess client requirements, perform preliminary PV system sizing and coordinate detailed designs with engineering teams.
• Conduct site visits, support cost estimation and ensure alignment between client needs and engineering specifications.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships, produce sales forecasts and reports, and handle after‑sales technical queries.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the solar industry, market trends and customer requirements.
• Technical expertise in solar power, PV design and electrical design for commercial/industrial applications.
• Experience in solution selling and sales engineering or technical pre‑sales, preferably in renewable energy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and performance data.
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical problem‑solving skills.
