Saudi General Practitioner – Dialysis Unit

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Saudi General Practitioner to join our Dialysis Unit. The GP will work closely with nephrology consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality chronic hemodialysis care for patients with End‑Stage Renal Disease.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive admission examinations and document clinical findings for newly referred patients.
• Conduct daily patient assessments, record vital signs, mental health status, dialysis orders, and compliance with diet and medication.
• Provide chronic hemodialysis therapy, develop treatment plans, and manage vascular access using safe protocols.
• Participate in unit rounds, discuss treatment plans with consulting physicians, and inform the Senior Physician of any significant changes.
• Execute clinical procedures, modify prescriptions as directed, and respond to emergency situations including CPR.
• Document all treatments, follow‑up plans, and clinical progress in patient records.
• Complete annual patient reviews, present findings, and contribute to audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Attend mandatory training such as CPR certification, health & safety, and disaster preparedness.

Required profile

• Licensed Saudi General Practitioner with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Experience or strong interest in chronic hemodialysis and nephrology‑related procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and follow senior physician instructions.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to regulatory standards.
