Scaffolder I – Scaffold Erector

About the role

We are seeking a Scaffolder I to erect and dismantle scaffolding for maintenance activities at SATORP plants. The role involves building safe work platforms, handrails and temporary structures while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and supervisor instructions to select materials and set ground levels.
• Assemble steel pipes, support beams, braces and clamps to create scaffold bases.
• Lift and position scaffold sections using frames, securing them with bolts.
• Install planks to form safe working platforms and use prefabricated systems when available.
• Dismantle and clean up scaffolding after job completion, ensuring housekeeping standards.
• Follow HSE rules, plant hazardous material guidelines, PPE requirements and tag systems.
• Participate in scheduled safety and technical training and competency programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years experience in oil & gas maintenance.
• High school education.
• Valid scaffolding certification from a recognized body.
• Strong technical understanding of oil & gas facility maintenance.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to live and work in Saudi Arabia and operate in a multicultural environment.
