Security Design & Implementation Expert

About the role

The Security Design & Implementation Expert is responsible for creating and maintaining robust cybersecurity and network security architectures, frameworks, and protocols that protect an organization’s infrastructure, systems, and data from evolving cyber threats. The role ensures proactive detection, prevention, and response measures are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design network security frameworks to protect infrastructure, technology assets, and data in line with cybersecurity strategies and regulations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network and cybersecurity architecture to ensure resilience against threats.
• Establish device‑level security guidelines for mission‑critical and business‑critical assets, covering access controls, encryption standards, and authentication protocols.
• Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a Mission‑Critical Security Operations Center (SOC) for proactive threat detection and incident response.
• Coordinate vendor activities for SOC deployment and cybersecurity system upgrades, ensuring compliance with technical and security requirements.
• Implement and monitor preventative security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus tools.
• Integrate advanced threat detection tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS) to enable real‑time security monitoring.
• Develop and maintain vulnerability assessment plans across systems, networks, and applications.
• Adapt penetration testing and vulnerability management methodologies to emerging challenges.
• Create and maintain incident response playbooks and communication protocols, reporting mission‑critical breaches as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and network security design.
