Security Officer

About the role

Ghobash Group, an industrial trading and chemical supply firm operating in Saudi Arabia as part of the Tawazon / Ghobash Group, is looking for a responsible and vigilant Security Officer in Jeddah. The post protects employees, visitors, premises, assets and property, maintains a safe environment, monitors access and responds to security incidents and emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the company premises
• Check employees, visitors, contractors and vehicles entering and leaving
• Conduct regular patrols of the building, office and surrounding areas
• Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activity
• Maintain security logs, incident reports and visitor records
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and alarms, and report suspicious behaviour, theft or damage to management
• Assist employees and visitors while keeping professional conduct
• Coordinate with police, emergency services or other authorities when needed
• Check doors, gates and windows to ensure they are secured
• Support emergency evacuation and fire safety procedures
• Perform other security duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role is preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong observation and attention to detail
