Inspector – Security and ICT

About the role

AECOM is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector – Security and ICT to join its organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role covers security and ICT inspections, assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements, and to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular security and ICT inspections across facilities and systems to find vulnerabilities and compliance gaps
• Perform risk assessments and analyse security threats to recommend remediation
• Evaluate ICT infrastructure, network systems and security protocols against industry standards and policies
• Document findings and recommendations in detailed reports
• Verify compliance with security regulations, data protection frameworks and internal policies
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement corrective actions and monitor results
• Investigate security incidents and breaches to find root causes and prevent recurrence
• Maintain records of inspections, audits and follow-ups for audit trails
• Advise management on security improvements and risk mitigation strategies

Required profile

• Proven 8 years of experience conducting security audits, inspections and assessments in corporate environments
• Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, network systems and security architecture
• Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability analysis and threat identification
• Solid understanding of security compliance frameworks, regulations and industry standards
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage several inspection projects at once

Preferred qualifications

• Security certifications such as ISO 27001, CISSP or equivalent
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and security testing methodologies
• Knowledge of incident response and business continuity planning
• Project management experience in security-related initiatives
