Security Operations Expert

About the role

The Security Operations Expert will lead and support cybersecurity operations across Specialized’s networks, systems, applications, and mission‑critical environments. The role ensures effective threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation to protect the organization’s digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor networks, applications, systems, and integration points to identify and respond to cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement and maintain security controls in line with frameworks, regulations, and approved standards.
• Execute SOC activities including threat detection, incident triage, response coordination, and resolution.
• Analyze incidents, attack patterns, and threat trends to recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct security, vulnerability, and penetration assessments and support remediation.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, patch deployment, system hardening, and configuration reviews.
• Maintain documentation and evidence for audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Apply threat intelligence and emerging indicators to enhance monitoring and protection.
• Track performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and update procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations.
