Senior Accountant – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Develop, monitor and update budgets, forecasts and financial analyses.
• Reconcile account balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and file corporate tax returns.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement financial strategies that support organisational goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including a senior‑accountant role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Experience in the healthcare or biotech sector is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and manage competing priorities.
