Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Insurance (Jeddah)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Audit professional to join Deloitte’s Insurance practice in Jeddah. The role involves leading audit engagements for insurance clients, ensuring high‑quality delivery while navigating regulatory and risk considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service level expectations and individual concerns.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying knowledge of regulation and risk management to business processes and controls.
• Analyze key statistics and industry data before engagements begin.
• Adapt template referral instructions to define audit scope and focus areas.
• Coordinate with on‑shore and off‑shore Centers of Excellence, managing delegated tasks and ensuring accurate information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and link risks, controls, procedures and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting judgments from audit judgments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit and assurance within the insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory impact, risk management and business processes.
• Ability to liaise effectively with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
