Senior Buyer – Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Buyer specialized in construction to join our team in Dammam. The role involves managing the end‑to‑end procurement process for civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance materials.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFQs, compile commercial bid tabulations and issue purchase orders.
• Evaluate suppliers, maintain procurement status reports and develop alternative sourcing options.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, warranties and payment conditions with vendors.
• Purchase consumables, spare parts and general maintenance items ensuring quality and cost‑effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in construction, maintenance, facilities management, contracting or industrial services.
• Professional procurement certification (CIPP, CPP, CIPS) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of local supplier markets in Saudi Arabia.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience purchasing civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, consumable and spare‑part materials.
• Proficiency in preparing RFQs, bid tabulations, purchase orders and supplier evaluations.
• Proven negotiation skills covering price, delivery, warranty and payment terms.
