Senior Commercial Manager – Residential Projects

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial aspects of its residential development projects within the Qiddiya initiative. The role involves shaping commercial strategies, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring contractual obligations are met to deliver value to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the commercial planning and execution of residential development projects.
• Develop, implement, and monitor commercial strategies to drive profitability and meet financial objectives.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to support project development.
• Prepare and oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, and cash flows.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage risks related to commercial activities and project delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with timelines and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor junior commercial staff, fostering a culture of excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• 9‑12 years of experience in commercial management, focusing on residential projects.
• Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in budget management and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated contract negotiation skills and experience managing complex agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with effective communication.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with commercial management software and project management tools.
