Senior Compliance Manager

About the role

The Senior Compliance Manager leads the organization’s compliance function, establishing and maintaining a robust compliance framework. This role ensures adherence to laws, regulations, internal policies, and governance standards while fostering a culture of integrity across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the compliance framework.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks, creating mitigation plans.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and internal assessments across business functions.
• Advise management on regulatory obligations and emerging requirements.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and responses to inquiries.
• Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver compliance awareness programs and training.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess organizational impact.
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management, HR, and business units.
• Oversee third‑party, vendor, and contractual compliance where applicable.
• Manage the performance, development, and resourcing of the compliance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, and governance.
