Senior Compliance Manager

About the role

J. Awan & Partners is expanding its Governance, Risk and Compliance practice in Saudi Arabia and seeks a senior leader to design, implement and monitor regulatory compliance and anti‑money‑laundering programmes for its clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients meet local and international requirements while supporting the firm’s growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fit‑for‑purpose compliance programmes, including AML policies and regulatory licensing processes.
• Monitor and report on regulatory changes across the KSA jurisdiction and ensure client adherence.
• Lead business development initiatives, leveraging global relationships to secure new mandates and drive revenue growth.
• Onboard new clients, strengthen market presence, and enhance brand recognition in the region.
• Manage and nurture existing client relationships, delivering high‑quality service and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within financial services or related sectors.
• Proven track record in client acquisition, business development, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to work independently in a fast‑growing environment.
