Senior Cost Accountant

About the role

We are a fast‑growing organization seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead cost accounting activities within our manufacturing environment. The role combines strategic analysis with hands‑on cost control to support operational efficiency and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all cost accounting activities related to manufacturing operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor cost‑control measures to improve profitability.
• Monitor daily operational expenses and payment transactions for budget compliance.
• Analyze production variances (materials, labor, overhead) and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory costing, valuation, reconciliations, and cycle counts.
• Prepare and analyze monthly COGS, margin, and performance reports for senior management.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with production and operations teams.
• Review financial and operational processes, recommending improvements to internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with factory management and cross‑functional teams for strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CMA, CPA, or ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of cost‑accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
