Senior Cost Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to lead product costing, manufacturing cost control, and inventory valuation for our operations in Riyadh. The role supports accurate financial reporting and provides insights that drive operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own product costing activities, maintaining standard costs, BOMs, routings, labor rates and overhead allocations.
• Perform cost roll‑ups, periodic reviews and variance analysis against standards.
• Manage inventory valuation, WIP, production order settlements and related accounting entries.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing for manufacturing costs and produce cost reports and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of manufacturing cost performance.
• Partner with production, procurement, planning and engineering teams to improve cost visibility and operational performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product costing and manufacturing cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of inventory valuation and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to analyse cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
