Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join Naseej’s technical team in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on supporting and troubleshooting production applications, ensuring high availability, performance and reliability while driving automation and modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot applications in live environments.
• Analyze logs, identify issues proactively and resolve incidents.
• Automate operational tasks using Shell/Bash scripts.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system performance.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Support CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
• Deploy, manage and optimise containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application support and production operations.
• Strong expertise with Linux (Ubuntu) environments.
• Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting for automation.
• Solid understanding of logging and performance monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices.
