Senior Drupal Developer

About the role

A full-time Senior Drupal Developer position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role covers the technical management of Drupal sites, from custom module and theme development to integration with third-party applications.

Key responsibilities

• Create custom Drupal modules and manage all technical aspects of the CMS
• Architect enterprise Drupal solutions, including data, display and information architecture, alongside module and theme development
• Build responsive websites using Drupal, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery
• Work closely with front-end developers and customers to deliver an effective, visually appealing and intuitive implementation
• Integrate Drupal applications with third-party applications

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT; Aquia certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of PHP classes and OOP concepts
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing)

Required skills

• Drupal 7, 8 and 9, including custom module and theme development
• LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
• Git, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, JSON
• Customizing and creating contributed and custom modules
• PHP, caching tools and database optimization
