Senior Field Support Engineer – PACS, RIS & Enterprise Imaging

About the role

The Senior Field Support Engineer will deliver remote and on‑site hardware and software support for Agfa HealthCare imaging solutions across Saudi Arabia. You will ensure high system availability, performance, and customer satisfaction while participating in implementations and project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, correct, and perform preventive maintenance on Agfa and OEM imaging products.
• Provide remote and on‑site technical support to maximise system uptime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with hospital IT teams, system administrators, end users, vendors and internal support groups.
• Execute system upgrades, patches, performance tuning and routine maintenance.
• Analyse defects, apply fixes, work‑arounds or permanent solutions.
• Manage technical escalations and communicate status to customers and management.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and issue tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Agfa quality standards and SLA commitments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical customer support for mission‑critical IT systems.
• Proven experience with PACS, RIS and Enterprise Imaging solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
