Senior Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical activities for large‑scale infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with design, construction, and project management teams to ensure technical compliance and effective risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all geotechnical engineering activities across project phases, ensuring compliance with national standards and EPMO requirements.
• Review and validate geotechnical investigations, soil reports, foundation designs, and ground improvement recommendations prepared by consultants.
• Provide expert advice on geotechnical risks and develop mitigation strategies for planning, design, and construction stages.
• Coordinate integration of geotechnical inputs into project deliverables and participate in value‑engineering workshops.
• Supervise field investigations, testing programs, and site verifications to confirm compliance with approved recommendations.
• Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and reporting in alignment with EPMO governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
• At least 17 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably on infrastructure or government‑led projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage consultants, review technical submissions, and support strategic project goals.
