About the role
We are looking for a senior IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Engineer / Consultant to lead architecture, deployment, customization and integration of MAS for enterprise clients. The role involves setting up MAS environments on Red Hat OpenShift, tailoring business logic and UI, and connecting legacy systems such as ERP, SCADA and GIS to the Maximo ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, configure and maintain core MAS components (Manage, Monitor, Health, Predict) on on‑premise or cloud OpenShift clusters.
- Implement custom business logic using Automation Scripts (Python/Jython, JavaScript) and Maximo Application Designer, Database Configuration, Domains and Workflow Designer.
- Design and build integrations via Maximo Integration Framework, REST/JSON APIs, Kafka or MQ queues with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), IoT/SCADA platforms and GIS (Esri).
- Lead data migration from legacy Maximo or external sources, perform unit, system integration and user acceptance testing, and provide tier‑3 support during go‑live.
- Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, interface control documents and run‑books for client handover.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM Maximo, including at least 1‑2 years with MAS 8.x/9.x.
- Proven experience configuring Red Hat OpenShift environments for Maximo deployments.
- Strong background in Maximo Integration Framework, REST/JSON APIs and enterprise service bus technologies.

- Integration with SAP, Oracle ERP, SCADA, GIS (Esri).
- LDAP/SAML/SSO and role‑based access control configuration.
