Senior Internal Auditor – General Services

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will assess and perform audits across General Services functions—including HR, Facilities, Administration and Corporate—to ensure internal controls are effective and risks are managed in line with alfanar’s policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain audit policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
• Enhance the internal control framework for General Services and advise management on major risks.
• Plan and execute risk‑based audit assignments, prepare business intelligence reports and communicate audit engagements.
• Lead audit teams, review audit files, and ensure comprehensive coverage of identified risks.
• Draft audit reports, agree on action plans with department managers and track progress.
• Conduct ad‑hoc investigations, pre‑implementation system tests and periodic variance analyses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit, risk management and control assessment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, coach and delegate to sub‑ordinates.
• Excellent analytical abilities to evaluate policies, procedures and performance indicators.
