Senior Internal Auditor / Internal Audit Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor who will also act as an Internal Audit Supervisor. The professional will lead audit engagements, assess internal controls, and provide recommendations to strengthen governance, risk management and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Execute financial, operational and administrative internal audit engagements.
• Assess internal controls and risk management effectiveness, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Conduct detailed audit testing, validate findings and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Draft audit reports including risks, impact and recommendations.
• Document audit working papers in line with standards and methodologies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity and timely information sharing.
• Lead special reviews, investigations and advisory assignments as required.
• Support development and execution of annual risk‑based internal audit plans and follow up on management action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CIA, CPA or CMA (or equivalent) is required.
• 10+ years of experience in internal audit, with at least 5‑10 years leading audit assignments.
• Strong knowledge of risk‑based audit, internal controls and corporate governance.
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
