Senior Inventory Specialist

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist to manage precise tracking and reconciliation of precious metal inventories in Riyadh. The role ensures chain‑of‑custody integrity from dore receipt to bullion dispatch, supporting financial close and audit compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily cycle counts and monthly reconciliations to keep physical stock aligned with system records.
• Maintain detailed chain‑of‑custody documentation for all metal movements in line with LBMA standards.
• Prepare audit documentation and facilitate internal and external inspections, including LBMA accreditation reviews.
• Investigate inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Validate inventory transactions in the ERP system for accurate financial valuation.
• Review and improve inventory handling procedures to boost efficiency and reduce loss risk.
• Train junior staff on weighing, sampling, and documentation protocols.
• Provide timely inventory data for month‑end and year‑end financial closing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum five years of inventory management experience in a high‑value or regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, and precious‑metal units of measure.
• Fluency in English for professional communication and reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
