Senior Landscape Engineer

About the role

The Senior Landscape Engineer leads the strategic direction and operational excellence of landscape facilities management for ENGIE Solutions Middle East. Based in Al Ula, the role ensures that all outdoor spaces, green infrastructure and related systems meet the highest standards of aesthetics, safety, sustainability and cost‑efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual Landscape Maintenance Business Plan, including budgets, KPIs and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary landscape management team.
• Serve as the primary liaison with senior management, tenants, clients, consultants and government authorities.
• Champion technology adoption such as smart irrigation, drone surveys and GIS mapping.
• Oversee maintenance of softscape, hardscape, water features, irrigation, lighting, outdoor furniture and recreational amenities.
• Review and approve the Preventive Maintenance Programme and ensure its implementation.
• Monitor real‑time operations, respond to emergencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage performance reviews for in‑house staff and external service providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in landscape engineering or facilities management, preferably in large‑scale projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage budgets, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
